Anna Ruzanova

Hi everyone,

My name is Anna. I have group 1 disability (cerebral palsy), joints spastic diplegia.

Since 2014 I have been practising wheelchair dancing. This really helped me not only to overcome some of my mental blocks, self doubts and fears of performing publicly but also made a more confident person in real life. It is a wonderful opportunity to be able to perform on different stages, to meet and build connections with new and interesting people.

Despite of having my dance practice, my main focus is to be able to stand on my own feet. I used to go to a fitness club where I had an individual programme developed helping me to move and walk individually. Unfortunately, the club was closed recently and I am no longer able to do the programme. I would really like to find another place where I can carry on with my practice as it is vital for me to be self sufficient and independent person. Being able to walk would allow me to move freely and visit place. I would also be able to take care of myself and others better.

We are helping Anna Ruzanova to fulfill her dream to practise horse riding.
